The recently instated President of Turkmenistan, Mr Gurbanguli Berdymukhamedov has released the strain from some of the most stringent restrictions which have been imposed on the citizens of the nation, which has been shrouded, un til now, from eyes of the entire world.

On this Saturday, the denizens of Turkmenistan will rise up to the morning with an unbridled access in to the turbulent tides of internet, these are the signs to the fact the discreet nation is trying to open up.

The country’s sole internet service provider, Turkmentelekom, quoted on this Wednesday, that it has begun booking procedures for the internet connections, and the waiting list is pecking close to 2000 users in capital city.

Earlier, the access of internet was quite restrained to government employees, the diplomatic posts, and the managers of the selected multi national companies. The common man of this turk nation was completely staunched from the rest of the world. They were forced to see the political ceremonies of the eccentric dictator, Niyazov, on the national television. The sneak in to local newspapers was also in crept with same nuisance revolving around Niyazov.

Turkmenistan has witnessed a sea change since the arrival of Gurbanguli in to the power. The roofs of the houses are mounting with “Dish Antennas”, which are connecting a Turk to an entire world.

” Hmm , this a great news. The spread of technology will increase awareness among the local people. They will also start nurturing a dream for their children. They will send their children to the school and help them being a successful citizen of the world. At least the next generation of the “Turks” would start thinking out the usual mind set of a normal “Turk”.” said Mr Sunny Mathews, Sales Manager, Miracle Studios .
