Although it may seem highly boring or monotonous but it has it’s own advantages ahead of open air cycling. In incorporated properly indoor stationary cycling can be the key component of not staying fit and fine but also a broad based cycling program. Especially during the winter months it is very much beneficial. Cycling whether indoor or outdoor it was a great way to maintain cardio vascular fitness. The main advantage is that one does not need to balance it. Stationary cycling has an added advantage of its ability to vary the training resistance. It also lessens the chances of injuries or chances of getting hurt. They are among the easiest exercising machines. They are very easy to learn and offers a great aerobic work out for the lower part of the body.

How to use:

Mainly there are two types of stationary bikes the uprights that looks like a regular bike and the recumbent the ones that reclines either at an angle or horizontally. The recumbent ones many a times has a bucket seat and it comes with a cushioned seat to support the back. The recumbent cycles are effective in working of the thighs and butts more than an upright. However regardless the type of the cycle that a comfortable sitting position is essential. This can be achieved by moving the seat so that they adjust well with the sitting posture. The stationary cycle also come with toe straps that help in securing the feets snuggly over the pedals of the cycle. It is best to choose that suits the best purpose and a comfortable.
