Education has always played a vital role in our lives. From the ancient times to the modern system of education, the aim of education has been to increase our knowledge and widen our thinking to incorporate new ideas. The constant evolution of the education system has led us to the advent of Smart Classes. With the rapid advances in technology in the 21st century, it was a matter of time when it began to play a role in the education system. With students becoming more and more tech-savvy, this digital form of education is much more appealing to them. Teachers in most schools are now adopting these methods to facilitate the easy understanding of concepts that are difficult to understand without visualization. The biggest hurdle that students face in the classroom is that they are unable to visualize the functioning of the concepts that are being taught. Here digital learning is beginning to play a vital role, as it enables students to see the functioning of any kind of system. Imagine reading about the digestive system in a book with a 2-D diagram. Now, imagine seeing a video in the classroom showing a 3-D view of the system and a step by step explanation of everything that is taking place. This will enable students to understand the concept much easier, as they have seen how it takes place instead of just reading about it. It will also help them to figure out the spatial arrangement of various organs. Thus, this will help in facilitating all round understanding of the subject. Another complaint most students have is that their study material is not interesting enough. This puts a lot of pressure on teachers to make factual subjects more interesting. With digital classes, this relieves a lot of pressure of the teachers, as they can add a lot of material to make their classes more interesting. By showing videos, 3-D diagrams, animations and other visually stimulating material, they can help break the monotony and keep the students mind refreshed and alert. These are very good techniques to provide good understanding to small children about various topics. As small children are much more receptive to information that they visually process, having animations, videos and colorful pictures will go a long way in reaffirming all that they have learnt. It will help them to associate those concepts with their real world applications. Nowadays, a lot of educational applications are easily available via the internet. This is making it a preferred form of education, as the pressure is being relieved of both, students and teachers. The best argument in favor of smart classes is that not only are they better at transferring information to students via interactive media, but they have also made the entire process of education a fun and pleasurable one. Gone are the days of rote learning and writing lengthy answers in the examinations. Smart education is ushering in a new era in which learning is fun for everyone.
