Shower gel is the common term for a substance similar to liquid soap that is used for cleaning the body while showering. Most commercial shower gels do not contain any specified oil. It is a product of petroleum. Shower gel is available in various colours, as well as different scents. Basically all shower gels on the market today are pH-balanced. Some shower gels are herb-infused and offer aroma therapeutic benefits too. Shower gel gently cleanses the skin while leaving the body lightly scented with the beautiful Fragrance. How to use shower gel?

Shower gels do not leave soap foam and are easier to handle in the shower, but if ever a drop of gel fell in the tub, as most of the gels are too thick, so it will not lose any efficiency by mixing the product with water. One can cut the cost in half and it is a pretty good savings of shower gel. By pouring half the shower gel in another container and then finish filling the original container with water. Homemade scented shower gel recipe

Ingredients used for making a home made shower gel are 1/2 cup unscented shampoo, 1/4 cup water, 3/4 teaspoon salt, 15 drops fragrance oil and food colouring agent. Pour shampoo into a bowl and add the water. Stir until it is well mixed add the salt and fragrance. For fragrance one can use as per own choice like kiwi extract, Raspberry extract, Strawberry extract, Coconut extract or Vanilla extract. Mix and match or use one alone.
