The mat and the rug are one of the things that are used to keep the dirt out of the house at the door step. The mat is used to reduce the overall dirt that might get on the floor and make it more undesirable to clean from the floors. The rugs or the mats are also used to subside the coolness floor from children’s reach eliminating the possibility of the children to fall sick. The rugs and mats are really useful to keep the floors clean. Now a days a new use has come up. It is used to make the floors and the rooms more attractive. This is done with the help of colors and pictures or so called theme on the mats. This helps one to make the rooms even the complete house have a new get up.

Types of rugs:

Newer and newer shapes, sizes, colors, material used in its production are increasing day by day. People are getting into the groove to adopt to these new types of new age modernization and looking forward to change the whole outlook of their homes. One more use of these mats or rugs is to make the kids learn from them by providing mats that have some type of study material on it which would help them learn many things. Some mats are just for decoration and are used for show-casing. Some mats have attractive colors that are appreciated by small kids.

Uses of rugs:

Some mats have the use of increasing the temperatures in the winter season there by protecting the kids from cold floors and walls, eventually keeping them away from falling sick. There are various types of mats. There are mats with cartoon characters on it, while some have the shapes of them. Some have the shapes or designs or even the pictures of different types of sports like the basketball, soccer. Some have the numbers and alphabets on it which are helpful for small kids to learn from them. Some mats or rugs have geographical or some non-related maps printed on it. These days many companies offer to make your own rugs with one’s family’s photograph on it or some good scenery picture.
