Application of lip gloss

Lip gloss is a thick liquid or soft solid, which provides shine and slight shimmer to the lips. It is resistant to water and can remain for long spans of time. It is oily and reflects light. It is applied on the lipstick or solo for a natural shade. After applying the required coats of lipstick, lip gloss is applied to achieve a stunning effect. Then, a single tissue paper is held between the lips. Some loose powder is sieved through the paper. This reduces the extra gleam. Also, due to the powder the lip gloss does not melt quickly and lasts longer.

Types of lip gloss

Lip glosses are packed in tubes with an application surface, which matches the curves of the lips. The tube is pressed and the lip gloss is applied with fingers. Alternatively, it is available in cylindrical containers, which have a wand to apply it. It may also be available in pots or panels, from which it can be applied by using a lipstick brush. Lip glosses are available in different flavors like strawberry, watermelon and some candy varieties. They may be translucent or opaque, having metallic or frosted or dazzling appearance. Killer Lips Lip Gloss comes in shades of pink, brown, red, nude and pale. Mega Shine Lip Gloss comes in shades of purple, red, pink, warm, deep jeweled, pale and nude. The other types include Feather Lip Gloss and Diamond Sparkle Lip Gloss. Uses of lip gloss

For lips having delicate lines, lip gloss has to be used on the center of the lips. Lip gloss, when applied in such a way, makes them look more full. Apart from delivering shine, it also acts as a moisturizer. Some latest products comprise of sunscreen, to protect from Ultra-violet radiation from the sun. They are prevalent among the fair sex as they are easy to use and offer a tempting appearance. Lip gloss increases the volume of the lips and emphasizes their look. So, women having thick lips are recommended to use it slightly.
