Foundation forms the base of the make up. Right way of make up is to apply it in away that it makes look more younger and beautiful. Foundation is used to enhance and mature the beauty one already has. Foundation is available in many shades but one should use a particular shade that is very close to skin tone and texture. Foundation covers the small irregularities of face. It smoothes the surface of the skin and allow the make up to spread more evenly. They give face most natural look.

Application of foundation

Face should be cleaned thoroughly before applying foundation cream. Face should be cleaned gently with the help of a cleanser and rinse it well. It is available in liquid as well as in cream form. A liquid foundation can be used to give skin a natural even tone. Right shade of foundation should be used to match the skin colour and type. Apply foundation in a streak form and blend it properly with the dabbing motion. It desensitizes the skin which will help to complete make up more comfortably. Put small dots of liquid foundation through out the face and neck and then spread the foundation evenly and gently on face. Layer of the foundation should not be very thick. While applying foundation always consider the neck and ear, cover these areas also with foundation. This is the most common mistake made by women while applying foundation. Try to cover other exposed areas of the body like hands. Foundation should not be used on areas where there are chances of rubbing foundation against clothing. It will ruin the natural and good look. Once the foundation is applied then wait for atleast four to five minutes so that it can settle down easily.
