Laughter, amusement, pleasure and gratification altogether delimitates the word entertainment. There are many entertainment hubs created throughout the world which are usually passive in nature such as watching opera or movie or theater. Active forms of amusements include every recreational activity that promises a healthy lifestyle.

With lots of entertainment hubs, a need to create a brand marks for amusement places emerged which was indeed very challenging for the marketers. There are certain qualities that one should take care of while designing entertainment logo because different genre has different demands.

I know what,s rolling in your mind; you want to know about those considerations that a graphic designer should keep in mind while designing such brand marks.

I can bet this amusement corporate identity is difficult to deal with as compared to the rest of the ones because it can easily be overinflated. This happens when a graphic designer thinks he is showing his side of creativity in the designs but actually he is not. Not only that, graphic designers are mostly convinced of the fact that they should make it as entertaining as possible so as to make sure they get the desired results.

Now, lets proceed to the connotations.

1- As mentioned earlier; it should be entertaining but not to the extent that it look sizzling to the eyes. It should not scream the message of your amusement industry because it will only irritate the viewer and nothing else.

2- Make use of bold and strong colors so as to depict the power of your amusement medium but again I would say, don,t overdo the colors to the extent that it looks unbearable to the eyes. Blue, red, orange, indigo can be used efficaciously in these brand marks while black and blue can be used as well but they are rarely used because sometimes it becomes difficult for a graphic designer to play with these colors.

3- At times, graphic designers come up with such entertainment logos which looks alarmingly blurry when resized which should be well taken care of. Vector graphics are considered ideal for this problem because entertainment logos are starting point of your marketing efforts so it should be cultivated really well.

4- Use of Font type is not an issue here but the size. The size of the font is kept bigger enough to be easily read by everyone and the font type as well. The,"keep it simple"rule is applied here so that the message of the amusement industry is conveyed in an effective manner.

5- Only the nature of a business should be reflected through such brand marks. Let,s say, you are running circus then the logo should be focus on the elements of the theme related to circus. Hence, great ideas will obviously do the best for your amusement businesses but you must make sure that those ideas are intelligently used by the graphic designers otherwise it will only have a detrimental effects on your amusement business for sure.
