The right curtains should complement the interior design of your home, and improve the current look.

Sheer Curtains – Sheer curtains add elegance and warmth to the room. They are ideal for filtering sunlight and are best for the living room. Sheer curtains can be coupled with other fabrics to add contrast and to create privacy.

Velvet Curtains – Velvet curtains in Sydney homes are more glamourous than other fabrics, and give a classical look to the room. They work well with different interior styles and are best made to full length with a little bit trailing along the floor.

Modern Curtains – Curtains with slick stripes of dark blue, black or grey against a white background create a modern yet simple looking window treatment. They can be very chic and add a touch of class to the room.

Embroidered Curtains – Embroidered fabrics are ideal for a Bohemian looking interior, and create a diverse vibe.

Bright Colours – Curtains made with brightly coloured fabrics are ideal for interiors that seem a bit dull and drab, and are great for brightening up any room. Bright colours or printed curtains in Sydney homes can transform any room from boring to exciting, and from uninviting to comfortable and sunny, in only an instant.

Elegant Scallops – Curtains with scalloped valances create a chic, elegant look. Scalloped valances go well with any interior style.

Printed Curtains – Printed curtains can create a lot of drama and excitement for a room, depending on the area. Cartoon printed fabrics are ideal for kids’ rooms and play areas, while natural prints such as flora or fauna are great for the living room, and can brighten up the area.

Textured Curtains – Textured fabrics such as textured sheers can be beautiful for bedrooms, but will need to be coupled with another block out fabric in order to create privacy when required.
