Catering Logos Design Ideas – Whether Your Business Is Hip or Chic

Designing a brand mark for a catering business is a tricky job. Here, the first thing that you should keep in mind is to use images and colors according to your target audience. If your company targets the wealthy and sophisticated in town, use images and colors that would appeal to them. Same goes if you are targeting the youth.

Here are some ideas how you can create catering logos are different target audience:

• For an informal, trendy and hip catering business that usually targets children’s parties and high school gatherings:

You can use entertaining and amusing images like an illustration of three different colored cups neatly piled together or a picnic basket that say that your company is young and stylish. If you are master in desserts, then you can use an illustration of a cupcake with a lit candle on it or a piece of a delicious chocolate pastry with a bite missing from the side. Since your target audience mostly consists of a younger crowd, use images that depict the same. if you business prides itself on serving a short notice, then you can use an pictorial of a spoon with a chef’s cap and a cape tied to its neck to give the impression of a super hero coming to the rescue.

? Colors You Can Use:

You have the freedom to use dark colors for your brand mark. The design should say that you are innovative, energetic and fun. You can use warm colors like red, brown, blue and green to show that your company is pleasant and welcoming who will try their best to make their customers comfortable. Only make sure that you do not use more than three colors in the entire emblem and use complementing colors so that the design is not irritating to the eye.

• For a formal, sophisticated and chic catering business that usually targets weddings and formal affairs:

Since you are targeting an audience that is elite and sophisticated, you need to use images accordingly. Use pictorials that would represent an urbane and stylish banquet. Here, you can use illustrations of a wine bottle, forks and knifes, a black bow that represents a waiter’s uniform or a serving dish.

? Colors You Can Use:

Use cool and sophisticated colors for your free catering logos. Keep a light or neutral colored background if you are using bright colors for the text. You can use gray or light silver colored background with text written in bright blue or you can keep the classic combination of black and white if you do not wish to experiment with your brand mark. Some colors that are used to depict sophistication and chic are lavender, silver, ivory, champagne and teal.

Remember, if you want people to notice your company, then you must speak to them in their language through your brand mark.
