People spend a lot of time making their eyebrows to have the perfect shape. However eyebrow makeup is usually the forgotten product in the makeup schedule. When using the correct eyebrow product and eyebrow colour, everybody can have perfect eyebrows. There are many eyebrow products like eyebrow pencil is the most common product to use on ones eyebrows. Sometime it can look harsh, so be sure to have a sharp point for easier application. For a more natural look use short soft strokes and remember to blend with a firm eyebrow brush. Eyebrow powder is always a matte powder with high colour pigments. Apply with an angle eye brush and with light strokes then blend with an eyebrow brush. Eyebrow gel comes in clear or colour formulas.
Types of artificial eyebrow colour
It is hard to figure out the exact colour one should use on eyebrows. Here is a simple guide to help for choosing the best colour like blonde, dark blonde or light brown-Blonde pencil or light brown powder, brown or dark brown-chestnut, black-soft black, silver or gray-blonde and natural redheads-blonde.
How to shape eyebrow
Eyebrow tweezing is methodological, but it can drastically affect the appearance. The ideal eyebrows are one that is nicely groomed and not over-plucked but beware of an eyebrow arch that is too high or skinny. To judge the right shape for eyebrow, follow these steps.
1. Take a pencil and hold it vertically along the side of the nose. The eyebrow should start on the outside edge of the pencil.
2. Keep the pencil beside the nose, move the top of the pencil along the eyebrow line. The point where the pencil intersects with the iris is the arch line. Continue to move the pencil along until it hits the outer corner of the eye.
3. Before starting to tweeze, one may want to draw the desired shape with powder and eyebrow brush or highlight the hairs to be tweezed by marking them with white eyeliner.
4. Starting on the inside of the brow gradually tweeze the bottom of the yebrow until the outer corner is half the width of the inner corner of the brow.
5. After finishing with the bottom row of hair, comb the brows upward and trim any hairs that extend beyond the natural top border. Brush the eyebrows upward and outward to the final shape. At last fill in any bare areas with an eyebrow pencil.
