Michael Waltrip Racing became one of Toyota’s flagship teams. That is rare in driver/owner situations, but Waltrip’s no ordinary driver. After Chip Ganassi Racing merged with Dale Earnhardt Inc., they had hoped to field four full-time teams. The team is trying to remain optimistic.
