There are millions of microscopic organisms that exist in the whole world. Among the millions to billions that exist, fungi are one of them. Fungi are considered to be decomposers.  These tend to break things down and this would include the human body. Particularly, the parasitic body fungus feeds on the live hosts to live. Fungi are responsible for various human diseases.

These range from the common skin infections to the chronic respiratory illnesses and all the way up to the deadly tumors. A person can be exposed to parasitic fungi by the consumption of foods that are infested with yeasts or molds or by inhalation of fungal spores.

There is a high probability that when people start experiencing adverse symptoms, they do not include in their assumptions the possibility of having a fungal infection. However, there are effective natural remedies that people may benefit from.

The first step in preventing this kind of infection from happening to you or to anyone else you know is by knowing the types of infection that may possibly affect you with. Generally, fungi can cause superficial infections.  This means that they would be affecting the epidermis or the mucous membranes. Things like athlete’s foot, oral thrush and yeast vaginitis are some examples. This kind of infection may infect other people but they are easily diagnosed and treated.

Another kind of infection would be systemic infections which would most likely occur when the fungi enters the bloodstream and develops into more serious illnesses. Persons with weak immune systems are particularly susceptible or someone who live in or have visited an area where certain spores are in abundance. Some kinds of infection can be life threatening.

The third kind of infection would be the opportunistic infection which would infect a person with a weak immune system. This can either be systemic or superficial infections. The most common types of infections caused by body fungus would be toenail fungus, nail fungus, jock itch, thrush, Candida, athlete’s foot and ringworm. As stated earlier, there are kinds of infections that may be contagious, so it would be better to treat them as soon as possible since they are not the kind that disappears quickly.

There are numerous of anti-fungal creams that can be prescribed by physicians and can be bought from local pharmacies. Although they can be effective, they have side effects that users should be cautious and careful about. Most of them may also be costly, so your best bet would be to try natural remedies.

For prevention, you can drink a combination of garlic and carrot juice daily since these ingredients can fight against systemic body fungus. Garlic is known to have allicin which shows antifungal, antibacterial and antiparasitic properties. Shredded or peeled carrots also contain ethanolic extracts that have antimicrobial effects. Taking these ingredients as often, as you can, will not only give you health benefits but it would also keep you proofed against fungal infections.

For topical natural creams, you can acquire herbs to such as Urtica urens, Aloe ferox, Marigold and Witch hazel to soothe inflammation, itchiness and epidermal rashes. These herbs not only promote fast recovery but they also support one’s immune system. One of the most common natural remedies used at home is baking soda to treat ringworm or athlete’s foot. Baking soda is as safe to use as a topical remedy.
