Triceps dips

The triceps are actually a large three headed skeletal muscles that are found in the humans. The triceps run along in the back of each of the upper part of the arms. It is often seen that people who exercise their arms with weights often neglect the triceps group of the muscles in favor of the biceps that form the frontal portion of the triceps. In scientific terms are called the triceps brachii muscles. Basically there are three folds of the triceps. They are the long head, the medial head, and the lateral head. The fibers converge to become a single tendon that inserts the olecranon process of the ulna. The entire three group of the tissues form together to merge together to form the whole triceps brachii.

Building the triceps:

The triceps can be worked properly either in isolation elbow extension movements that contracts them statistically to keep the arm straightened against resistance or compound pressing movements. The isolation exercises and movements include the cable push downs and the bent over lateral raises that are also used mainly to build the rear portion of the triceps. Apart from these two the bench presses are also good builders of the triceps provided that they need to be done on a regular basis. Dips are also effective in giving a proper shape to the triceps and at that same time strengthening them. For increasing the resistance to a greater extent one might try to exercise the dips at a closer angle. It is extremely vital to maintain a balance between the biceps and the triceps. Especially for the postural and the effective movement purposes.

Working the triceps with a program at the television:

This sounds great. However it also necessary to pay attention to the exercises properly. Te best thing to do is to switch on some live exercising program that will act as a guide to the triceps work out. It may also boost up the exercise regime. More over watching it and then doing it in front of the television may help to correct the mistakes that could have been possibly done through wrong positioning of the body through a wrong posture.
