Guests can also watch a movie in the hall even if this is not something more current than those in the box office. Other activities includes a live performances in the theatre or drinking and dancing in the bar and disco. An Alaskan cruise is more expensive than booking a voyage to the Bahamas or the Caribbean. The cheapest room starts at $750 and the most expensive goes for $3000. It is up to the individual to decide how long the trip will last since the shortest is about seven days and the longest will almost last three weeks. Most cruise ships have more than 2000 guests on board. Those who don't want to be with a lot of people can try catching a smaller vessel going in the same direction. A maximum of 120 passengers are allowed on each trip making it convenient to mingle with the other tourists. Travelers will have to make reservations ahead of time since it is hard to book during the peak season between May to September. It is possible to get discounts if the person is traveling in a group or a special event will be happening on board such as a wedding or a birthday party. Alaskan cruises depart from either Los Angeles or San Francisco. The person or a travel agent can work on the transfers if the tourists are flying in from another state to be able to get to the pier on time.
